Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are vital to the Ohio Environmental Council. From helping with office work, to working on special events, to interning for projects and campaigns, the OEC wouldn't be successful without volunteers who believe in our mission.

Volunteers, ages 16 and older, are needed for both ongoing work and one-time events.

  • Office Work - Non-strenuous work; flexible hours. Projects include data entry, preparing mailings, etc.
  • Recycler - We need a volunteer to come in once a week to take cardboard and can/bottle recycling out; date/time is flexible. Must be able to lift and carry items down a flight of stairs.
  • Special Events - Volunteer for an OEC event. Whether it's volunteering at the event, securing auction items, or serving on a planning committee, we have a role for everyone!
