Tips for setting up meetings with lawmakers

This year, in an effort to empower our community, interested participants will schedule their own meetings with lawmakers. If you're unsure of how to do this, or it's your first time scheduling a meeting, please review some of the resources available in the OEC's Advocacy Toolkit. There you'll discover what to expect when meeting with lawmakers, how to call your lawmaker's office, and a variety of other useful guides.

Citizen meetings with lawmakers are an OPTIONAL component of the agenda this year. There will be plenty of other trainings and activities available throughout the day for those who do not wish to set up individual meetings with lawmakers.
