"Lobbying" may sound like a scary word or something reserved for people who work at lobbying firms. But we all lobby at one time or another.
Any time anyone - a student, a citizen, a voter - talks to their elected officials about an issue that is important to them, that is 'lobbying.' The OEC urges everyone to lobby their lawmakers about environmental-conservations that affect their communities and state.

Environmental Lobby Day
Another way to lobby effectively, is to join the OEC and our partners every spring for Environmental Lobby Day.
Through formal meetings and casual conversations over meals, citizen-advocates (like you) across Ohio dicuss important environmental-conservation issues directly with lawmakers and state agency representatives.
