The OEC brings top scientists, environmental
policy specialists and grassroots organizers together to
provide training workshops for citizens and local conservation
groups. The Ohio Environmental Council regularly conducts
educational outreach
on a variety of environmental issues. The OEC's experienced
program staff and environmental policy experts regularly
speak at venues such as local conservation group meetings,
regional environmental conferences and university classrooms.
Whether fighting factory farm pollution, destructive mining, clear cutting and rampant suburban sprawl or protecting and improving the quality of Ohio's air, water and open space, citizens and local groups look to the OEC for assistance in making their efforts more efficient, more effective and more successful.
