Get Involved
The Ohio Environmental Council offers many ways for you to help secure healthy air, land, and water for all Ohioans.
Get involved today on issues that matter to you, whether it's ensuring safe and clean water, fighting climate change, protecting our state parks, or many others.
The more people who get involved, the stronger Ohio's green voice becomes!
Ways to Get Involved:

Register your Kroger grocery card and they will donate to the OEC every time you use it. Simply register your card here under "Participant," search for and select "Ohio Environmental Council," and Kroger will take care of the rest!
NOTE: You must re-enroll each year. It only takes a few moments!
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are vital to the OEC. From helping with office work, to working on special events, to interning for projects and campaign, the OEC wouldn't be successful without volunteers who believe in our mission.
Volunteers, ages 16 and older, are needed for both ongoing work and one-time events.
- Office Work - Non-strenuous work; flexible hours.
- Recycler - We need someone to come in once a week to take cardboard and can/bottle recycling out; date/time is flexible. Must be able to lift and carry items down a flight of stairs.
- Special Events - Volunteer for an OEC event. Whether it's volunteering at the event, finding auction items, or serving on a planning committee, we have a role for everyone!
To volunteer for any of these opportunities, please contact the OEC at (614) 487-7506 or OEC@theOEC.org.
