Although dirty, outdated coal-burning
plants currently produce 90% of Ohio’s power, cleaner
energy sources DO exist. Solar,
wind,
biomass,
and fuel
cells (external links) are just some of the choices consumers
have to heat their homes, cars, and businesses. In fact, the
state of Ohio has developed the Ohio
Electric Choice (external link) program to allow consumers
to make an informed decision about energy choices.
