| Keith Dimoff, Executive Director |
As Executive Director, Keith is responsible for guiding the OEC's overall operation, maintaining our leadership role among environmental advocacy organizations in Ohio, and ensuring the financial health of the organization. He began his experience with the OEC in June 1998.
Previously, Keith worked for five years at the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, where he earned the statewide 1989 Employee of the Year Award for his service with the Division of Hazardous Waste Management. He also served with the state Attorney General’s Office as a liaison on enforcement cases.
Keith graduated in 1987 with honors from the Ohio State University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering (technical emphasis on environmental engineering and construction management) and a minor in the liberal arts.
He serves on the steering committee of the Blue Green Alliance and is a graduate of the Great Lakes Executive Director Leadership Program. |
| Jack
Shaner, Public Affairs Director |
Jack Shaner brings more than 20 years of experience in public interest advocacy and legislative service to Ohio’s environmental-conservation community. Beginning his eleventh year as the OEC’s Director of Public Affairs, Jack is well recognized in Statehouse corridors in Columbus and in newsrooms across the state as the premier environmental policy advocate
at the Capitol.
Before joining the OEC, Jack served
as Policy Director for the Ohio Senate Democratic
Caucus and staffed the caucus’ members on the Energy, Natural Resources, and
Environment Committee. A native Buckeye, Jack is a graduate
of The Ohio State University and the Environmental Leadership
Institute. |
| Kristy
Meyer, Director of Clean Water Programs |
Having joined the OEC in April 2005, Kristy is responsible for managing projects and budgets, researching technical issues, establishing positions on water issues, conducting outreach with local watershed groups, coordinating OEC’s Great Lakes Basin Water Resources Compact/ Sustainable Water Resource Agreement (Annex 2001), and Great Lakes restoration work. In this capacity, Kristy forms partnerships with traditional and non-traditional allies to develop and pass strong and protective measures for the waters of Ohio. The particular focus of her advocacy is Lake Erie, through state, regional, and federal policy and citizen-based outreach efforts.
Prior to joining the OEC, Kristy worked part time as Ohio’s Outreach Specialist on Keep Antibiotics Working, The Campaign to End Antibiotic Overuse in animal agriculture, whose overuse and misuse promotes the spread of antibiotic-resistant bacteria.
Kristy obtained a M.App.Sci. from James Cook University in Queensland, Australia, where she worked with Aboriginals on Natural Resource Management Issues and formed a “Greening Strategy,” for all of Northern Australia, including Papua New Guinea. Kristy also has a B.S. in Environmental Biology and Business Administration from Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio.

| David
R. Celebrezze, Director of Air & Water Special Projects |
David shares his time with both the Air and Water teams at the OEC. He organizes meetings and works with local school district fleet managers on the OEC’s diesel campaign. His focus in the Water Program is the Wetlands and Streams Project. He supports and encourages sound policy to protect
the quality of water in Ohio by working with several
local watershed groups.
Prior to joining the OEC, David was part of a national mental health organization,
coordinating over 130 centers throughout the United
States. He has also served as a senatorial aide at the Ohio Statehouse. These experiences honed David’s
ability to organize several different groups towards
a common goal. He has a B.A. in Sociology from the
College of Wooster. |
| Jeffrey St. Clair, Director of Communications and Marketing |
Jeffrey St. Clair has over 25 years’ experience in brand strategy, communications design, and public opinion research. His work with major retailers, consumer goods manufacturers, and financial institutions gives him a unique perspective on the OEC’s position in the environmental-conservation community which he uses to enhance the OEC’s image and reputation for innovation.
Jeffrey has served as strategy and research director for major consulting firms in both Columbus and London, U.K. He holds an MBA and PhD from The Ohio State University, and a BA from The Pennsylvania State University.

| Jodi Segal, Director of Development |
A native of Pickerington, Ohio, Jodi has been politically and socially aware since an early age. After majoring in cultural diversity at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, she went on to a career in social change advocacy and fundraising for environmental-
conservation organizations including MASSPIRG in Boston and CALPIRG in Santa Barbara.
Jodi works directly with the OEC’s Executive Director to create and implement strategies for cultivation and expansion of the OEC’s donor/membership base. She initiates projects to raise funds from existing donors, enhance giving opportunities, and coordinate communication projects specifically targeted to existing and potential donors. She is thrilled to be back in Ohio where she can put into practice the skills and experience that she has developed during her career in nonprofit organizations.

| Ellen Mee, Outreach Coordinator |
Ellen Mee joined the staff at the OEC in October, 2006 as Outreach Coordinator and Ohio organizer for the Keep Antibiotics Working campaign. She also serves as the principal investigator for the NIEHS-sponsored Midwest Consortium. In this function she works with communities around Ohio to promote awareness of environmental and public health threats, and to teach citizens how to report hazardous environmental releases. Ellen is also responsible for administering the OEC’s fish consumption advisory program, leading workshops for WIC clients, hospitals, and community groups to help citizens lower the risk and increase the benefits of eating Ohio’s sport fish. Before joining the OEC, Ellen taught courses including health law and policy at the University of Florida College of Law and served as health policy specialist for the National Conference of State Legislatures in Washington D.C. She has holds a J.D. from the University of Florida College of Law and a B.A. in Communications from the University of Washington.

| Trent A. Dougherty, Staff Attorney |
|
Trent first joined the OEC in May 2004 during law school and worked as a legal intern and later Law Fellow for the OEC’s Law Clinic. In July 2006, Trent joined the OEC full time as Staff Attorney responsible for legal and policy analysis for the Water and Air programs. Trent’s Water Program duties focus on CAFOs and other Clean Water Act issues, and representing the OEC on Ohio Department of Agriculture and Department of Natural Resources advisory committees. His Air Program responsibilities concern Ohio EPA rule changes to air pollution policy, as well as Diesel and Climate Change policy. Trent is also responsible for supervising the OEC Law Clinic, its projects, and staff of law student interns and Law Fellows. Prior to joining th OEC, Trent worked in the Business Services Division, Legal Division, and Constituent/Client Relations for the Office of the Secretary of State of Ohio.
Trent is licensed attorney in Ohio and holds a Juris Doctorate from Capital University Law School with an Environmental Law Concentration, as well as a B.A. in English from The Ohio State University. |
| Nolan Moser, Law Fellow |

Since joining the OEC as Law Fellow, Nolan has worked on numerous legal and policy issues, including land use and forest protection, energy efficiency, coal policy, factory farming agricultural responsibility, and more recently no-till agricultural promotion.
Nolan has a J.D. degree from Case Western Reserve University and has passed both the Michigan and Ohio bar examinations. |
| Cheryl Johncox, Water Program Associate |
Cheryl’s assignment at the OEC is to concentrate on water-related issues, with special attention to the Ohio River drainage basin. She maintains OEC’s relationship with the Central Ohio Watershed Council and the Southeastern Ohio Watershed Council.
While attending The Ohio State University at Marion, Cheryl initiated Earth Day programming, which has evolved into a week-long annual event. She spearheaded a community and university effort to monitor and restore Grave Creek, a “Petition Ditch” running through the campus and Marion communities. Cheryl has a background in Environmental Education, connecting communities to their watersheds, and ecological restoration. She has consulted for the National Wildlife Federation’s Office of Congressional and Federal Affairs, and is the recipient of the 2005 National Conservation Achievement Award in the International Category, National Wildlife Federation’s highest honor. She graduated cum laude with distinction in natural resources from The Ohio State University.

| Devan Willemsen, Air and Energy Program Associate |

Devan works on diesel cleanup and energy projects for the OEC, specifically the school bus diesel retrofit program throughout Ohio and climate change issues. She grew up in northeast Ohio where the impacts of industrialization on the Cuyahoga River and Lake Erie and the effects of urban sprawl were constantly apparent. Her goal at the OEC is to advocate for ways of living, working, and commuting that reduce harmful impacts upon the environment.
Devan holds a B.A. in International Studies and a Masters degree in City and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University. |

| Sarah Hovanec, Administrative Manager |

Sarah joined the OEC
staff in August 1999 after volunteering for the organization
for over a year. Sarah is responsible for the management
of office administrative activities and administrative
staff, coordination of special events, and the volunteer
and intern program. Sarah has a B.A. in Dance from
Otterbein College. |

Dawn joined the OEC
in June 2003. As administrative associate, she provides critical program support
in addition to administrative assistance to
SOAR Energy and the OEC’s staff.
